Saxophonist, producer, and recording artist Tommy Weeks has performed on some of the world’s most recognized stages, from two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden with Dispatch to major festival appearances at Electric Forest, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, The Peach Music Festival, and Sound on Sound. His career spans international touring, national television, arena performances, and collaborations with an extensive roster of celebrated artists.

Known for his commanding stage presence and unmistakable energy, Weeks has shared the stage with Dispatch, Goose, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, Galactic, Lettuce, Lawrence, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Soul Rebels, Robert Randolph, The Rascals, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco & The U.N., and many others.

His work has also brought him to national television. Weeks has appeared on ESPN’s First Take, performed as a house band member for ESPN’s Tournament Challenge, and was featured in the house band for Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Ultimate Game Night. His music has been featured in the FX/Hulu series Fargo, starring Chris Rock.

Weeks has also performed the National Anthem on some of basketball’s biggest stages, including Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks, the Target Center for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the XL Center for UConn Basketball.

A Connecticut native and graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in music, Weeks helped form the Funky Dawgz while at UConn. What began as a college ensemble grew into an internationally touring act, taking Weeks across the United States and Europe and helping establish him as a powerful and versatile presence on the saxophone.

As a solo artist and producer, Weeks brings that same versatility into his own music. His debut project, Strangers, written and co-produced with Grammy Award-winning engineer Mikhail Pivovarov, blends pop, R&B, house, hip-hop, jazz, and funk into a sound shaped by both his life onstage and his work in the studio. Featuring musicians and longtime collaborators from Connecticut’s music community, the project introduced another side of Weeks—as a songwriter, producer, and artist with a musical identity extending far beyond the saxophone.

From sold-out arenas and festival stages to television studios and recording sessions, Weeks has built a career around versatility, collaboration, and the ability to connect with an audience. Whether stepping forward for a solo, supporting an acclaimed artist, or leading his own music, his playing carries the energy and personality that have become signatures of his sound.

Beyond performing, Weeks works with young musicians through Connecticut-based Project Music, an after-school program dedicated to developing the next generation of artists.
